So to stop procrastinating and move forward I have yep you guessed it!!! I canceled my membership to 24 Hour Fitness and Weight Watchers. It no longer fit my budget, I never went and really the people in the gym made me feel uncomfortable.
However, I have not given up on my get healthy plan. I just contacted Dominguez State and they have a track that is available to the public. So I am going to walk 30 minutes every other day for 2 weeks, after which I am going to move it up to 40 minutes, then 50 and so on. In the interim I am going to contact my insurance and see if they have a “wellness” plan that includes a gym and possibly a YWCA or something. I am not looking to hook up with anyone from a gym, I am there to get healthy and on track. Plus a man would be a distraction. (swoon)
Do I feel good about canceling the membership? YES
Am I excited about saving money? Yes
Do I have goals for saving? OH YAH
Do I like the sound of the Kool-Aid GUY? OH YAH OH YAH OH YAH
