don't get it twisted

Lately I have been noticing a lot of PC comments or betting about the bush talk. I am a straight SHOOTer....yep no nonsense type of person who wants the in your face type of talk. None of this lying and not hurting of the feelings. However, there are certain people who get away with saying such comments. Friends...and I am talking about the type of friends who would take a bullet, give you the push even though you would rather sink into a hole, and those that truly tell you the truth of it all. Some FAMILY depending on how they say it and no sugar coating but the down and dirty nitty gritty type of truth where you know they do not intend to hurt you but since you ASKED they will tell you.

Not doctors who are not even doc's but PA (Physician Assistants), nurses who are just rude and strangers.

So I decided to give a little in sight to me. What do I think and do you care? What bugs me? What hurts or gets under my skin?

• Did we forget our manners? Do we not care to help those in need? Since when did doing something out of the kindness of our hearts become a novelty?
• Don't call me Large. You can call me fat, big, voluptuous just don't call me large. I know I am a big girl I don't need it pointed out to me.
• I find it funny when people think they are doing something to get up on another but instead it just make you look like an arss.
• I have known since I was 15 yrs old I wanted to adopt. I decided at 18 yrs old it would be a girl first and I would help at home.
• I am told a lot that I would be a great mom but in the back of my mind I think "What if I screw her up somehow". But if I teach her the same values and morals as my parents did I think it will be fine. I turned out GREAT. *(toot toot)
• I don't understand how there is a no discrimination about race, gender, etc. but nothing about size. Is that not a right?
• I believe that everyone has the right to marry whom ever they choose. I think that having separate but equal is replicating the same problematic practices as racism back in the day. There was no call for it back then and it doesn't belong here NOW. Just sayin..
• No I am not comparing Racism to same sex marriage. However, I believe everyone should have ALL the same rights regardless of their choice.
• I find it difficult to realize how much hate is in the world. I sometimes feel I keep myself in a bubble and not step out than realize the hatred surrounding me.
• I still haven't decided whom to vote for and feel that they are both evil.
• Hate when people see only my size rather than ME.
  
• I sometimes make myself laugh out loud just by thinking something CRAZY.
• I love my sense of humor.
