Monday Funday

Power of Prayer

I am not someone who
PRAYS
or prays for myself really.
More for others.

So yesterday I was driving
and
I literally talked out loud and
PRAYED!!

What did I pray for??

TWO THINGS
I thought nothing of it because
well he is busy and who am I.
But then I checked my email and I
had an email for a JOB.
HOLY WOW

I am so so excited.
Today I believe that prayer
works. I just thought maybe
if I pray for others and they are praying as well
he would hear both our prayers and they would work
for them.
I had no idea that he would help me when most needed.

I also asked for a sign for the other request/Prayer LOL.
I wonder if it will be a neon sign so I can be sure to see it.

Funny but so true

A story I have to share because I can now laugh....

Its starts with Wednesday of this week 3.9.2001 to be exact. I was leaving work and was talking with co-workers before locking up. Suddenly a man in a black truck WAVES, so I do what a normal person who has no clue whom this guy is...I WAVE BACK. He then proceeds to pull out of the parking spot and goes far enough to block my rent-a-car and waits.

I finish talking with my co-workers and mosey over to my car. He then says "Can I ask you a question?" I respond "Sure" (thinking he needed directions or something along those lines)

So here is the rest of the convo:

Him: I have a certain type of WOMAN and YOUR IT.

ME: Umm OKAY

Him: Do you want to go out?

Me: No thanks (he lost with Certain TYPE OF WOMAN) I knew exactly what he meant.

HIM: you single

ME: No.....

Him: Well your a BBW you know that?

Me: THANKS (thinking really you went there)

Him: So I am working next door you should come over and I can do a model for you and you can see my work. He does figurines.

ME: sure

Him: Do you know where Walmart is?

Me: No sorry. Have a good night.

Co-workers stayed because they thought he was going to kidnap me. When one co-worker said "Gina would not be kidnapped she would do the kidnapping" I laugh.

So let me explain. I am single but the way he approached I was not comfortable nor was I attracted to him. Calling someone a BBW and not knowing if they are comfortable with that title is somewhat inconsiderate. However, I stereotype him just as others have done me and I felt bad on the way home. Doesn't mean I am going to go out with him but I will be neighborly and see his work.

So lesson learned...Don't be on the defense right away and BBW was a complement. LOL

Thursday was better flirted with another and was reciprocated. LOL...We shall see.

• I get my dream J.O.B soon (like within a week)!! (please I'm praying)
• My foundation to open with success and able to do some good (it takes time)
  
• The funds become available for the foundation even in this economy!!
• I am able to Adopt a little girl next year.
• My parents and brothers & sil have good healthy year
• I find a J.O.B and MOVE~
• What I have been working towards become reality!!

Notice how everything hinges on a new job. The foundation will come along but I need a NEW J.O.B first to take care of NOW

MONEY!!

I have started my Spring Cleaning
early. Instead of waiting I am acting NOW.

Lately I have been an organizing machine.
Mostly my closet and my second dresser
but I have made an effort to downsize,
get organized and get rid of stuff.

No more CLUTTER!!

~The first thing I did was go through and
label all my boxes that contained my wallets
I got rid of TWO that 2 boxes of wallets.
Garage sale...yahoo.

~Next I went and gathered all my recycle bags
and but them into the boxes I had emptied.
Made labels for those and put the boxes in
the proper place.

~After concurring that huge ordeal
I started in on my craft corner.
The craft corner is in the Farthest part of my closet.
I had purchased a shoe container for under my bed
and since I now had shelving (what my shoes were previously on)
I could put my paper and a few boxes on the shelves.
I labeled everything and put in the proper place.
I have a feeling I will be revisiting this
when I tackle the storage above my closet but for now it works.

Plus I put myself on a budget and am no longer
allowed to purchase paper or items until I use what I have.
Luckily I have a baby shower coming up and
it is the perfect excuse to use the cutest paper ever I found
for my SIL and brothers baby shower.

~I also organized what I call my long dresser.
It has no clothes just things that a desk or
entertainment center would house.
Got rid of so much that I literally have
two free drawers. What to do what to do??

~This past weekend I returned a few
items and purchased some bins and
things to help me organize.
I spent NO MONEY!!
YAH BUDGET

One of the items was a fabric bin
in brown and put my purses that could be rolled
up. It gave me so much more room and looks
much better.
I have two others to put up and
I am going to be purchasing a new shelf for my
closet as well.
This should make it much easier.

I finished Patricia Briggs new book and I am not that excited about it. Her other books prior to this were exciting, made sense and made you root for the underdog or coyote Mercy. This book however was more of me skimming the paragraphs and looking for good parts to read. Patricia is one of my favorites and for me to give this a side ways thumb is disheartening. Here is hoping for the next installment of MERCY she is a character who I have come to enjoy reading.

Any suggestions for the next read. I am not a ROMANCE (meaning all romance must have some type of action) book?

Last Christmas my friend went Penguin crazy
on me and got me the cutest items for XMAS.
I mean so so adorable. Things

I would never have guessed were out there.

I have used it more than I would like
for fear of breaking it or it ripping.
But it is so handy and I no longer get plastic bags
I just break out my Penguin Saver.
(Yep that's what I named it..so deal)
