I am a procrastinator and huge one. In fact one might say the Queen of Procrastination. It really doesn't matter what it is either. I would put it off until the absolute second it was due or when something made me so upset that I couldn't take it anymore. The only thing I really didn't procrastinate is my school work, for some reason my parents instilled a sense of duty when it came to school work and studying. I may not have liked it but when it came to papers, studying, reading, classes I was always there and sitting in the third row, third seat. I was a stickler for my seat and if someone was there before me then I would sit in the second row second seat and piss them off. They wouldn't sit there next class and Yippie it was mine again. After a while my classmates would figure it out and become friends with the crazy person in the third row. However, I have noticed that when it comes to doing my resume, searching for jobs (i find them but wait to long), cleaning, shopping (food), or contacting people for items IE my car I procrastinate well NO MORE. Yesterday, my car alarm decided to die on me, so this morning my automatic clicker no longer works, my car started smoking (not cigarettes) and making really funny noises. Hence the need to find MY car and not just any car I refuse to settle. If I am going to shell out thousands I want my dream car.

Peanut Butter Apple Pie Highlighter
What are things sitting on my desk that shouldn't be, Peanut Butter cookies (my fav), Apple Pie (gift from E) and Highlighter (for working). So today's interesting topic has nothing to do with my post I just thought it would be fun to play the random words again. My birthday celebration continues tonight. It started on Saturday when my Dad and his wife took me to dinner, then Sunday went out with my mother's side to celebrate her mother's birthday (and mine), Tuesday wen out with Bianca and hung out a bit with her and got all caught up and tonight I contiue dinner with Kari and Ejiro. To be concluded Saturday with Xmen. So even though I didn't want to get older the day came anyway. So this really puts my ass in gear for the future plan.

April
A few things I love about April.
I love the weather some days are hot enough to go to the beach but not necessarily the water.
I love the birthstone. Diamonds are a girls best friend
I love the 29th.
I love that there is Showers in April and not the ones in your house's but actual RAIN. Its so clean.
I love that it is tax season and FYI I got money back. YEAH....
What do you love about April? Let me know..

Another Year-Terrifying
To my annoyance I turn another year older next Wednesday, some are asking why not wait till that day to post this. Well I feel like doing it know because on Wednesday I won't care anyone more I can't stop time, move the clock back or travel backwards to a time when I enjoyed getting older. This makes me wish that when an "Adult" said enjoy your childhood or try not to grow up to fast I would have listened. Not that I would be in a different place but I would have enjoyed each turning as a good experience rather than "I am getting OLD", getting up there soon to be "40". Those who are 40 and read this I said the same thing when I turned both 20 and 30. I should think of this as a stepping stone to gaining knowledge in my age but really I don't want the knowledge I will take the stupid with youth any time. That's not entirely true either when I was 20 yes I was naive but not stupid, careless in certain situations definitely but most certainly not stupid.
What helps is having friends in all ranges of age. I don't discriminant due to age. I am still crazy and silly with all and enjoy time with all of them. So for those not yet turning my age I will give some advice or a what I have learned. Take and enjoy your friends because those are the ones who know and care about you no matter what. Family discriminates according to what you can do for them, at least some of my family does (not immediate) so take care of your friends hold them close to your heart and giggle as much as possible. Laugh lines are a sign of a good Life.

Happy Earth Day!
Yep its that day when for ONE day only we are to help the Earth. Um, that seems wrong kind of like Valentine's. Here Honey I got you this and because Hersey's said I had too I am saying how I feel. I think like Earth everyday should be the day to take care of the Earth. And if you love someone don't tell them on Valentines day because the companies tell you too and the quaking rabbit, but because that is how you feel all the time not just for one day.
So, here's to Earth day Everyday!!

Soap Box-Guilty
Disclaimer: this is my 1st amendment right. So don't read if you are offended read another day.
So I am sure many have heard about the craigslist killer who "supposedly" has been arrested. However, in the criminal justice field you are INNOCENT until proven guilty meaning the prosecutor has enough evidence to go to trial. The process starts after "he" is arraigned with the charges. According to the news, officers, officials, etc. the killer has been captured. I think because of society we are guilty until we prove beyond a shadow of a doubt the innocence of ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I think that if he is the killer than the law is going to rain down on him however the allegations are made by the prosecutor therefore it is her/his job to prove his/her case that he is in fact the asalent who murdered in cold blood and that it was premeditated.
The "murderer" is also due to have a fast and fair trial with a jury of his peers. Ok really, really how is he going to have a fair trial with the images and media coverage that is going on. He is innocent people till proven guilty that is how our system is "supposed" to work. Not guilty until he proves himself to be innocent. The media coverage is crazy and how is someone in todays society supposed to have a "fair" trial. While working at a law firm the word "fair" just wasn't used and I tried. Nothing in law is "FAIR" and that was something that my college education never taught.
I just have to say this and btw I could go on and on about this but I won't. Our system that has been put in place are tainted. We let killers back on to the streets and keep "non-violent" individuals in jail. Why, because of our system. We have jails that are over crowded, this 3 strikes rule that should be re-written, and gov.(nuf said see previous post). I believe that as Americans we have the right to a fair trial even if an offense is committed and the media should not be allowed to have access. Plaining say "We have captured a potentional suspect further information will be available after the trial".
The law is for all; those who choose to break said laws should be held accountable. Do I think that happens no! There was an article in People about kids who were given months in detention facility (juvenile hall) for not telling on a friend. But a murderer of two people is let off the hook because of his status in society or celebrities can arrange when they serve time. No place in the statuates does it state that due to your celebrity you have the option of choosing when you can serve. However, TI dude do your thing really. He is doing a show to promote his error and fix or deferr others from making the same mistakes. That is a major focus in criminal justice defferance, given them options to keep them away from the life that would lead to jail. But really Lil Kim had to "schedule time" what why, others are not given that option for the same infraction. The are carted off in the court room and have to look at there loved ones from across the room or in the cage. But "celebrities" (not all) get the FREEDOM to postpone service. This isn't jury duty, you can't postpone. Our system is tainted and only a handful follow even a fraction of the laws.

Every strong man is an even STRONGER an amazing WOMAN
Disclaimer: I am not intending for this to be intended to impede any one's view or political take however I was thinking in bed last night and this is my revelation.
To start I noticed how strong of character our political support has been. Meaning the women behind the president's. Example Michelle is amazing at how much she did prior to being the 1st lady but even the past Jackie O backed up Kennedy, FDR's Eleanor, even and thumbs up Hilary. You may not like their politics or say they were not that great of a president but seriously the ones who did damage to our country did not have a strong support system when it came to the women. BUSH n BUSH. nuf said.
Also, I am not really up on all the political stuff and really not a fan of the whole thing but I do like the fact that the women in the past have had some back bone to them (democratically) and stood for something. I think in the future it gives both sexes the chance to view our history as it is instead of having it misconstrued into something else. I realize that I am placing the blame on the "not so strong" women of our past but really I am just stating the facts that the past "republican wives" have been not so present unless it was to stand behind the man rather than the side.
If you took offense understand that I am just stating what I was thinking about and only the few past years came into play. I did not include Reagan, Ford, Lincoln, etc. Merely the ones that stand out in "MY MIND" as the women being strong as the man by helping him lead. This is my opinion and am taking the 1st amendment right of freedom of speech.

Weekend Recap-Concert
After a horrific two weeks this weekend was a rousing 2 thumbs up. My friend Carrie got us tickets to see NKTOB (pics to follow) and aside from the feet swelling, mini girls pushing their way to the front and standing in line forever. It was very cool. I started off in the mosh pit but ended up in the way back on the floor dancing and meeting a few others that were tired of the eleventeen year old acting grandmas throwing their panties on stage and well causing ridiculous ciaos. So, I ventured in the back with a little girl that lost her Aunt, two guys one heart broken and well DONNIE and the guys. Yes that is right they traveled to the no mans land (back) and gave us a concert and a little touch and feeling. So all in all AWESOME.Carrie stayed with me Friday-Sunday afternoonish because her daughter was missing her (adorable) and I had to work a few hours (teaching). It was good to hang with Carrie since we haven't since forever and just talk. Sunday night went to Dinner with Kari and Ejiro at Mario's (yummy and spicy "not to self do not order the penne anymore wow spicy") and got caught up since I haven't seen Kari in years (more like a month but DAMN).
Good weekend, crazy dreams and a little gig in my step. Status on the virus well still lingering but slowly going away.

Hangin Tough
Yep that's right this weekend I am going to be Hangin Tough with some Grown Men while they strut their stuff. I have seen them more in my adulthood than ever. Yes they disbanded in 1998 but they are trying to make their way back. The first boy band that I saw when I was twelve my cousin took me and I honestly can't remember except for some crazy guy sang Romeo. Anyway, on Saturday I will be in Hollywood with Carrie while we make our way to the front and keep all the lil girls at bay.
So until then stay on your toes with anticipation of this weekend while I tear it up with NKOTB.

I have seen the unseen
Yes that's right I have and let me tell you its not fun. So let me recap my very long weekend. My weekend started roughly Thursday at 12 (left early from work) till Wednesday (today). I had the coughing (up a lung once or twice), the wheezing (sounded like I had asthma or a serious smoker), running eyes, tired (not the normal ugh tired, more of an let me just stay on the floor it will work type of tired) and did I mention the fever yep loads of fun especially when it reaches 103. I spent the Easter weekend with my mother in Riverside and she is not doing to well with her knees so we were a pair. But it was good to just have time with her although I did feel horrible for being blah with her. She took me back Sunday afternoonish and then I went home and passed out. On Monday I awoke from not sleeping all night long and called into work followed by a call to my doctor for her earliest appointment. She then proceeded to take me off till FRIDAY um no must work and plus so bored and compromised her to Wednesday if I agreed to stay in bed and avoid getting pneumonia. Because that would be so much fun, NOT. So for three days I stayed in bed watched HSM3 (no judging, gosh its bad), Australia and tv episodes of One tree hill and Twilight for like a million times. I did get my dose of Reality TV last night but other than that I usually phased and day dreamed. But I rested and what does resting make you, even more tired. So in a nutshell that is what this flu/cold/bronchitis/pneumonia thing has gotten me to do. NOTHING..
You want to know what the unseen is all the stupid day time television that is on good grief seriously you can leak brain cells by just flipping channels and mistakenly stop on one to take a brief break.....

Reality junkie
My reality show is back and oh how I missed it, however, I wish they would have put different people on it like Colin, Mike, Jason, etc. But at least there's Evan. The show I am talking about is Real world/Road Rules challenge the DUEL. Its an addiction that I do not want therapy, counseling or an intervention. So I am going to indulge myself every Wednesday.
coughing, sneezing, stuffy head and fever BUT NO REST
Warning this has some wowisme moments and venting so if you would like to refrain from reading please come back tomorrow...
So, for the past week my father has been sick with the flu (not the vomiting but the cold symptom like one but worse) its been going around. However, instead of keeping the germs in his room he has been out in the living room. His wife has also been sick for the past 3 weeks. So guess what I have been fighting this stupid flu/cold whatever and this morning it finally hit. I am lethargic, grumpy and unmotivated (not say that I am all the time), needless to say I am not my joyous self. I want to just go back home and tuck myself into bed and sleep until this thing goes away but I feel at work I have been missing more than I should. I have called into work for being sick when I was sick btw. Once for 2 days a migraine that wouldn't go away and another for when I had the flu (vomiting tmi maybe). I have been here for over 6 months and feel horrible for calling in because that's not the type of person I am others are never sick and do not call in, also I am leaving early today is another factor. So I am trying to tough it out but its only early clock the movie is almost over and my work is caught up. So what do I do now well look for step 2 options, finish my data base possibly, but no I just ponder.
Until next time......

Paper Spaghetti Bridge
Every wonder how much fun it would be if the names of the week changed every month to match the month.
On a more serious note today on this crazy Wednesday everyone must stand up wherever you are and scream. Just let it all out until you cough and cant' scream anymore, go ahead do it. It re leaves tension and gets all the frustration you are feeling out in the open. Plus it will make your boss think you are doing something that requires you to do this in order to move on, or you may get fired so be careful on to anger anyone around you. What would help the situation is if you got your co-workers to go along with you and on the count of 3 everyone stand up and SCREAM!!!
I have those days a lot and even when I am home searching the internet for step 2 yes I am skipping step 1 (car, because that is already in the works). Step 2 is a little more complicated and requires me to wear a suit. For those who have no idea what I am talking about the walls have ears so please read between the lines.....or look at my other blogs.
How about a fun little game. As you can see my title is well unconventional or I just addded words together and made myself giggle. So here's the game you take random words 3 of them put them together to make title's and let me know what you come up with in the comment section the best one will receive a spot in tomorrow's blog.
Until then keep your chin up noboby wants soup on their face.

By gosh its Tuesday
Just wanted to update my friends, family, dear little readers about my on going quest to finding the perfect car. Some may say "oh not that again" but think of all you are learning from my experience. Nothing you say, posh you are learning the art of what not to do on your quest to purchasing the perfect vehicle. To continue, I have found my dream car and then realized that once I have completed this quest then its on to the my next on the list I have to reach when I am 35, which is vastly approaching faster than I would like.
So the search has taken a turn for the better, after consulting my dreams for the past week or so and deciding on which make of vehicle I truly want. The one I have chosen is dependable, sleek and an upgrade to my current auto.
I have decided that I am going to purchase a 2006 Acura so before you start on the why would you go older when you can get a new one for the same price. Well my dear little friends because the 2006 has less mileage than a used 2007 or 2008 Altima (the other car I was thinking about). After much discussion and debate with mostly myself I have decided to go through with the purchase of an Acura TL. It has everything I want in a car and well its PRETTY (I'm a girl give me a break), plus the turnover rate is higher than most cars as well. So, I am completing the next step which is getting a loan and then its time to find the perfect car that is if my current favorite has not been snatched.
So until then my friends keep you eyes wide, your noses clear and your heart full.

Just call me LOBSTER G
Yep its the truth I am officially a lobster and this time it wasn't due to negligence. I used so much sunscreen that I truly thought this is going to be fine. Well it wasn't my chest hurts (still), arms are killing me and my face looks like someone smacked it with a wooden board. So know that you are completely confused let me explain. Saturday I had to work at a resource fair and we were lucky enough ( co-worker and I) to sit directly towards the sun with no shade in sight. A woman was kind enough to give me sunscreen and I had sunglasses on to protect my eyes, so I thought. After the 5 or so hours in the sun I decided to call it a day and go home I HURT. So needless to say the warning test I had a few years ago was now worse due to agreeing to go to the outside fair. I am rather freaked because of the seriousness of my burns it wasn't like when you were a kid its so much worse these days and for me to get no sleep Saturday night and Sunday night it has to be bad. It was so bad that I ended up with flu like symptoms the entire Sunday. I feel OK today but still hurting.
The lesson I have learned from this 1. not going to any outside functions unless I have an umbrella, some form of covering. 2. with age comes wrinkles and getting damaged by the sun can cause much worse things than just wrinkles 3. making appointment with derm to find out if the damage is horrible or with lotion (already on) and staying out of the sun will help

Early Weekend Round up-disappointment
Let me start by saying I hate the car sales industry. I hate it when men assume your an idiot and talk to everyone else in room besides the "woman" who is purchasing the car. So, for the past few months I have been researching and looking for a new car. This is a big purchase and I want to be smart about what type of car I want. Obviously its not going to be a FORD, be there; done that twice. Also, I do not want a RED, WHITE or GREEN car or LIGHT BLUE. I know the body shape, about of MPG and type of engine. So I am not going into this with Rose colored glasses on, I am being careful. Plus I am going to the dealers and then when my father has time bringing him to check what I have already figured was a good car. So for 2 months I have had my heart set on a Nissan Altima or Toyota Camry its purely based on the body style and drive that I like plus its not a ford. Then on Thursday I had the day off and asked my dad to go with me to see some cars that I had found previously. We went to Cerritos and stopped at the Dodge dealer after looking at the other ones and found the prettiest car a Acura TL. It is sleek and just big enough for people in the back and a reliable car. I looked at 7 yes 7 and settled on a metallic blue with black/gray interior. My dad test drove it and put it through the test, and I had settled on buying it. They needed to fix a few things before I took it off the lot including a good cleaning. But other than that it was perfect. Until my Dad saw the Mercedes for less than the Acura and well he's a Mercedes guy. I really am more of a BMW if we are going to go high priced cars. Just like the body style better. Well while negotiating the price the "SALES MAN" was talking football with my dad and when I added a few snide remarks about his beloved Raiders and he said "What do you know about Football" I went off. On how many games compared to my beloved PATS and etc. Let's just say that his mind had changed after I got done at the end I added BTW I am the one purchasing the vehicle so the smoozing should be with me not my father. Not only did I get a wondered eye and continued male chatter I had to deal with the "*&^%(*&%^$##@@ manager who showed the "numbers" to my father. UGH needless to say I was having second thoughts going into the dealers area but after that little show I walked out and told them I wanted my paperwork so 1. they couldn't contact me 2. when I do buy my car I am going to stop by and ask for OSCAR and show him what he missed out on 3. really make sure I get exactly what I want and am happy with my purchase. Sunday (my current ford) is doing OK well OK enough to get me to short distance places with a few stalls. So until then I will keep Sunday going and enjoy the rest of my weekend. I am also looking to finance outside the dealership so that I can get a better deal with saying this how much I have and what I want to pay that's it. My weekend started early on Thursday and had to work Saturday at a fair but overall it was just relaxing plus I am getting a lot done. I found a new suite for interviews I have one really nice one but a lot of the times its a 2 part interview and wells its better to have more than one. Plus I do need more dressy work clothes.
My plan is still in motion and I am not giving up. Going to contact an agency Monday to start the paperwork for 2010 ish.

Movie Review-Fast and Furious
On Friday I adventured to the movie theatre by myself to watch the 4th installment of fast cars and unnecessary half dressed females. I was in a theatre with all men and got grossly disgusted with all the female close ups of there behinds. It was as I said not necessary. However, the major demorgraphic is male and I am an exception. I loved the car chases and good lord the cars were AWESOME. They finally did the American Muscle car justice by showcasing excalty what it can take and let me tell you it took a lot. I did enjoy the non-American cars however they needed an extra push to keep up. The driving was great and you could tell that some of the stars were doing there own stunts which lets just say that its about time. The lead man to my disappointment was Vin Diesel and I will quote one of the articles wording they used to describe him "monosalabic" throughout the entire movie. He lost his "leading man quality". However, Paul Walker was himself and that was what I enjoyed it wasn't his "dude" or "cuz" for the previous movies thank goodness but it was more of him getting back to his Bobby Z or Running Scared which proved he does have acting chops. The story line wasn't unique but it did have some twists that were interesting. You will be shocked and confused but after all its all about the 10 second car. Some may say this was a waste of time but I give it 3 stars. But that is just my opinion and really that is all that matters. I am going to purchase the DVD.

Dreaming while Driving
Ever drive somewhere and can't remember how you got there. Well that happens every morning I drive to work. It is amazing how I don't get into accidents.
I would also like to take this time to give big "UPS" to those peeps that are there for me in good and bad times. Oh and listen to my endless venting about life. Gosh I would seriously invest in tape to shut my "mouth" up. Ah the bonds of friendship like your invisible guide says that even when your friend is being ridiculous you tell them that they are great to sooth those feelings of "CRAZY". I must admit I have those quit frequently and my friends "ALL" of them still adore my crazy ass. Also, I am horrible at communication. I have friends who I adore and I don't call them and its not because I don't' want to talk its just I have never been one of those girls or people who like talking on the phone. In that regard I am a horrible friend. But then with some friends there is distance (geographically) between us and with the hole not talking a lot can be a bother but when we get together its like there was no time in between that we were absent. In truth I have many different types of friends that I treasure and I thank my stars or darwin everyday I am was given those people.
So I tip my hat to all my true friends you know who you are!!!!!
The moral of this entire rapid on going is I love my peeps and pay attention while driving.
