Yep its the truth I am officially a lobster and this time it wasn't due to negligence. I used so much sunscreen that I truly thought this is going to be fine. Well it wasn't my chest hurts (still), arms are killing me and my face looks like someone smacked it with a wooden board. So know that you are completely confused let me explain. Saturday I had to work at a resource fair and we were lucky enough ( co-worker and I) to sit directly towards the sun with no shade in sight. A woman was kind enough to give me sunscreen and I had sunglasses on to protect my eyes, so I thought. After the 5 or so hours in the sun I decided to call it a day and go home I HURT. So needless to say the warning test I had a few years ago was now worse due to agreeing to go to the outside fair. I am rather freaked because of the seriousness of my burns it wasn't like when you were a kid its so much worse these days and for me to get no sleep Saturday night and Sunday night it has to be bad. It was so bad that I ended up with flu like symptoms the entire Sunday. I feel OK today but still hurting.
The lesson I have learned from this 1. not going to any outside functions unless I have an umbrella, some form of covering. 2. with age comes wrinkles and getting damaged by the sun can cause much worse things than just wrinkles 3. making appointment with derm to find out if the damage is horrible or with lotion (already on) and staying out of the sun will help
Sorry ur red lobster G.....wish I could help u!
